Young Euro Classic Southeastern Europe
The Young Euro Classic Festival Orchestra Southeastern Europe plays its part in promoting understanding. The musicians come from the seven countries that used to make up the former Yugoslavia, and Germany. They will get to know each other during a rehearsal phase in Berlin, before performing the opening concert for Young Euro Classic on 6th August 2010. They should then embark on a tour of southeastern Europe.
Setting an example
Young Euro Classic: Mirror Sounds
Young musicians from the former countries of Yugoslavia and Germany have converged to form the Young Euro Classic Ensemble Southeastern Europe for the first time in 2009. The ensemble sets an example of rapprochement, and initiates social interaction between countries that used to make up the former Yugoslavia. Young Euro Classic Southeastern Europe 2009 was sponsored by the German Foreign Office.
