Luis Martín Niño Rodríguez
Since 1994 Luis Martín Niño Rodríguez is concertmaster of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra. His interest in music already became apparent during music lessons with his father, composer and violinist Luis Francisco Niño Rodríguez. At the age of 11 he started his studies at the Academia Francisco Cristancho with Mario Díaz, Marjoelin de Sterke, Andreij Kurkowski and Valentin Stefanov. His artistic career is closely connected to the National Youth Orchestra of Colombia, with whom he performed as solist and concertmaster for several times. Luis Martín Niño Rodríguez performed with many national and international orchestras i.e., the Philharmonic Orchestra of Santiago de Chile and The Symphony of Yucatan, Mexico.
