National Youth Orchestra of Romania
Romania
Under the baton of the well-known conductor Cristian Mandeal, the National Youth Orchestra of Romania unites the most talented young musicians of the country for a unique creative experience, striving for musical excellence. The youngest of the Rumanian orchestras was founded in 2008, at the initiative of cellist Marin Cazacu. From the beginning, Cristian Mandeal has been responsible for the leadership of the National Youth Orchestra of Romania, both in technical and artistic matters. Ever since, he has helped the musicians not only to further their own talents, but also to inspire and enthuse their audience in every performance, proving their abilities convincingly. In 2011, the National Youth Orchestra of Romania accompanied star violinist David Garrett at a celebrated performance at the George Enescu International Festival in Bucharest.
