Turkey – Germany

This orchestra’s bilateral focus on Germany and Turkey makes is truly unique.

Set up in 2006, the ensemble aims to attract young musical students from the two countries aged between 18 and 26. They are selected on the basis of recommendations from music professors and teachers and their performance at auditions that take place at German and Turkish academies.

Jungenç presents itself as a full symphony orchestra, a chamber orchestra, a chamber ensemble, or in solo performances.

In order to underline the quality of the young musicians, the solo part in Mozart’s clarinet concerto with be performed by one the orchestra’s own musicians – Hugo Rodriguez, a student at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar.
