Youthful enthusiasm, multi-culturalism and music-making at the highest level – just a few words to sum up the ethos of the International Regions Symphony Orchestra. More than 100 highly-talented musicians aged between 17 and 25 come from all over the world and meet once a year at the Ochsenhausen State Academy, to prepare for national and international concert tours during a two-week rehearsal phase. A powerful body of sound made up of students, with a professionalism to match that of any established orchestra and an infectious emotionality to thrill any audience.
